At Nonoca we recover the spirit of the family pediatrician who accompanies children and their families during the first years of life. We support the upbringing, ensure the correct growth and physical and psychomotor development of the child or adolescent, and diagnose and treat common childhood illnesses. In short, we invite you to trust us so that the health of your little ones is not a concern.
We are paediatricians trained in reference hospitals. After years of combining high-level clinical activities, clinical research in Mozambique and advanced training, we took a break to reflect on our professional life coinciding with the arrival of our first daughter.
With this new perspective, we decided to prioritize the peace of mind of families, the well-being of children and the conciliation of family life in their professional life, giving rise to Nonoca, which means “slowly” in the dialect spoken in southern Mozambique.
At Mamayoga, Nonoca is like returning to your old primary care pediatrician: friendly, present, and committed to each family. Pediatric care is delivered from a conscious perspective, with each visit carefully tailored to the child's individual needs and delivered in a calm and welcoming environment.
Nonoca's philosophy is based on a deep respect for each child's individual rhythms, as a foundation for strengthening their health. Whether through regular checkups or support for everyday situations, the priority is to promote well-being, autonomy, and self-care, always with empathy and ongoing training.
