Do you want to attend my maternal and child nutritional consultations?

I am a mother, a dietitian-nutritionist, a diabetes educator and I consult on maternal and child nutrition. I graduated in Nutrition and Dietetics in 2010 and was able to start working that same year. Shortly after starting my clinical practice I saw the need to specialize in diabetes and since then I have not stopped training to acquire more knowledge in different areas: overweight and obesity, sports nutrition, microbiota and maternal and child nutrition. In addition to these 10 years of consulting work, I have had the privilege of living the experience of teaching at the university for 3 consecutive years.

I was lucky to experience my pregnancy and motherhood as a student in Mamayoga. All the information received in the classes (far beyond yoga) and feeling among equals empowered me as a woman. It also empowered me before the new stage that was beginning in my life. I am convinced that if I had not met Ágata and her project, my pregnancy, birth and upbringing would have been, and would be, very different. So it makes me tremendously happy to get involved in a project that has given me so much.

I am passionate about my work and I love to learn. Since I became pregnant I became more interested than ever in the nutritional needs of women and their children. All the processes that I was going through and the doubts that I saw arising from the rest of my colleagues from Mamayoga regarding this issue prompted me to take a specialization in maternal and child nutrition in order to be able to advise. Not only from my personal experience but based on the most current evidence.

I offer dietary and nutritional advice during pregnancy, lactation and postpartum, as well as in the doubts and needs that may arise throughout the different stages of feeding your child. Either complementary feeding, blw or feeding in the infant stage and a balanced diet. Also advice in case of allergies and intolerances: allergy to cow's milk protein, egg allergy, celiac disease, lactose intolerance, etc.

What are nutrition consultations like in Mamayoga? 

Our consultations are spaces of trust and listening, where you feel comfortable being yourself. In the first session, we take the time to get to know you well, understand your habits, and explore what you truly need at this moment.

From there, we design a plan that suits you: with realistic, flexible proposals that you can sustain in your daily routine. You can come for a one-off session or continue with follow-up appointments, depending on your body's needs and your current situation.
